Mimi Lost Another Tooth!

Mimi lost her second tooth before Christmas. And man, I've had so much more spare time lately now that I'm not constantly asking to wiggle her tooth.

Here's her phone call to Nana explaining how it happened.

Gingerbread Tradition

Last weekend we went to Aunt Karen's for "Gingerbread Day." This has been a few years of tradition in the making. But this year was different. There were surprise guests (and some known) and even daddy got to come for the first time. Like all of the other years, it didn't disappoint.

The first time Bode came to the gingerbread party, he was in my belly, making me feel nauseous! Look at him now!

And Adam (Ben's cousin from Minnesota) and Angie and their baby boy Roger were in town to surprise Aunt Karen. We loved getting to be with them. How nice to have another boy around!

 Along with the cousins, Ben's grandma Janice was also in for a visit. She'd never met Mimi (or Bode) so that was a treat as well.

Bode decided that he liked musical instruments...as long as he could use them as weapons.

And it wouldn't be Aunt Karen's house if we all didn't break out in song at some point. This was everyone singing "Jingle Bells."

Celebrating Jesus' birthday at Sunday School

We hope that you have a day that's filled with peace and love (in spite of how crazy a day it can be). Investigate Jesus for yourself. I pray that this Christmas is the first that you really seek out who He was and why we celebrate his birthday, still today.
