KIDS WEEK 2017

Kids Week at our church this year was awesome.

Bode actually WANTED to go every day! And not only that, but our buddies were in town! Benjamin and Emma!!! Talk about happiness overload for my people. 

Bode Robert is SIX!

How is that even possible?! On one hand, it seems like he should be older. Then when I think back to bringing him home from the hospital, or watching his blonde, crazy self crawling all over the place it just doesn't seem that long ago that he was born.

This was the first party where he really felt like a "kid." He had his own friends to invite, really cared about specific presents and had been counting down the days until his birthday for months. 

We had his party at his favorite place ever...Airborne Gymnastics gym.

He was having fun reconnecting with preschool friends he hadn't seen in awhile.

I'm fully aware that I have to fight the urge to baby my baby. But that FACE!

His favorite part by far was when his bestie Tanner showed up. These guys were in five day a week preschool together all last year. They hugged when I dropped Bode off and when I picked him up. Tanner's his first friend he really made on his own, away from me. He chose well. xo

Mimi was a trooper. For awhile there weren't any kids her age and she was bumming (on the inside). She was a sweet sister.

We love these kiddos so much. 

Mae, 3 is just a number. You've been conquering the world for years. 

This was a "ninja theme" party. Bode got to demonstrate all of the obstacles!

After all of that jumping, it was time for CAKE!

This may have been right when Bode said "but I can't read!"

It takes a village.
