We have TWO graduates in our house right now: Miss Mary-Ellen Harper Turrill, kindergarten graduate, and Gabriel Austin Warrick, college graduate. (Gabe is my cousin and is living with us for the summer :)
One person in our house who isn't a graduate, still needed to get in on the action:

Then, to culminate the end of Mimi's kindergarten career, we went to her little graduation ceremony...
I love how serious Mims is. She likes to follow what the teacher says. :)
The kids sang "Here comes the sun" and other songs. People cried. xo
Then we went back to the classroom and Ms. Fischer gave out awards. She had awards based on candies...so creative!
Mimi got the M and M award for being a "marvelous and magnificent" student :)
So proud of my girl! First grade here she comes!

Even though we didn't see Gabe walk across the stage, we still made sure to "stage" a picture of the graduate. It's a big accomplishment!
