Easter!

We a very fun, FULL Easter.

We drove all over the state and celebrated from dawn to dusk (raise your hand if you're surprised)

Don't pity us. We knew full well that we were committing to too much.

But we're blessed with so many people we love (many of whom we only see on holidays) so we didn't want to miss out on getting together.

So there you have it. 

A fun, busy day.

Early Morning Egg Hunting:

Even Bode had treats in some eggs!!!

Mimi's favorite treat from her basket was these Tinkerbell sunglasses

(that is, until Nana and Gpa Rodger came with a singing basset hound dog!)

Okay, let the sentimental-ness begin..

This was my mother's day present last year (lilac bush) and it's blooming.

Just as we're moving.

BOO HOO!

(I know I have issues...)

Bode thinks the lilacs are a delicious treat...

Then we went to church with Nana and Rodger!!!!

Thanks for coming down guys.

(and for our super sweet Easter basket. Mom and Dad appreciated the treat(s) for us too. 

Somehow that dang Easter bunny always forgets us at our house! ;)

After church and a quick rest and lunch we went to be with the Rhodes side of the family.

Popee and Bode were quite the pair.

I sat across from them and took a million pictures.

I just couldn't get enough.

Bode was super chill (maybe because Popee kept feeding him). 

They were just like two little buds hanging out together, talking about The Masters.

Cousins Kris, Miranda (due in a few weeks!) and Sean

My sweet little Mimi, after she had been told my cousin's little girl Abby (or "big girl Abby" as Mimi likes to call her) to "stop following her." :(

But she got over it.

After sitting with my dad for at least 30 minutes, Bode decided it was time to take him in and learn more about the guy who was holding him...

Then to the next family event with Ben's family.

We really only see each other at Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Easter, so I couldn't bear the thought of missing out on everyone! And Mimi loves running with her big girl cousins (who shower her with loving attention! And clothes!)

This is Ms. Aria...how ADORABLE is she?!? All these cute baby girls in our life!

In true girl fashion, she made eye contact with Bode and talked his ear off...

while he was more interested in being aloof and destroying valuable heirlooms at Andy and Fred's.
