It's Time For the Fair!

Who wouldn't want to take these two cutie pies to the fair!?!

It's that time again! 

The time when we put Bode's John Deere hat on and put Mimi's hair in pigtail braids and try to go and eat corn dogs and lemonade as much as possible next to the twinkling lights of a ferris wheel.

But I'm surprised we made it there at all based on how many pictures I took in the parking lot...

BUT THEY WERE HOLDING HANDS!!!! HOW CUTE IS THAT?!?! 

First stop, goats!

That sweet little 4H girl told us all about these goats.

I've never learned so much.

She gets an A+ in my book!

(she was leasing this goat. Did you know that you could lease a goat?! Much like a Kia or a Toyota Camry...interesting.)

At this point, Mimi was not super impressed with the animals. There used to be a day when she would LOVE this. But not when there are carousels to ride and giant Hello Kitty stuffed animals to win.

(but it turned out, those weren't open yet. Neither was the food vendors. So she was super bummed...)

At least Bode is in the phase of thinking that staring at pigs in their pen is cool...

Even though Mimi was bummed she couldn't spend all of our grocery money on Hello Kitty, she did fall in love with a little rabbit at the petting zoo...

(okay, so that's not supposed to be on here, but how cool that it's at least playing this video...?!?! This is the kids digging in the corn...)

Since we only did a smidgeon of the fun that the fair offers, and I like to come as much as possible to take cute parking lot pictures, we vowed to come back on Thursday with daddy and Oma and BT per our tradition...
