We are SO blessed with parents who all get along. And even want to hang out voluntarily!!!! How great is that!?
This fall marked the FOURTH annual "Chile Fest." For as long as I can remember my mom has bought roasted chiles, peeled and bagged them with a seal-a-meal to freeze them for the coming year (her con queso just wouldn't be the same without them). Four years ago, Bob and Robyn jumped on board, and now they work all day preparing the chiles and making yummy food, and we get to jump on and eat the fruits of their labor. Not a bad deal.
Last weekend we joined Bob, Robyn, Mom and Rodger for a fun fall meal of chile rellenos, beans, rice, snapper vera cruz and guacamole while the kiddos rotated through the grandparents :)

It turned out that it didn't make a very good next day diaper-wise, but he sure had fun guzzling it down on Saturday night! Spicy chiles and all!
