The NO-Labor Day!

We soaked up all the "not laboring" part of Labor Day weekend. It was great. The long weekend couldn't have come at a better time.

It started by hitting up Pearl Street on Friday to browse the C.U. apparel:

 Then it was a little "pre-game" breakfast at Le Peep!

There's nothing like the smell of garlic, velveeta, rotel and Jimmy Dean sausage in the morning...getting ready for the big tail gate in our MINI VAN ;) 

After what seems like an eternity driving around the Boulder/Denver metro area, we finally made it to the game! It was HOT!

These girls were walking up to the MASSIVE semi-riot tailgate we had to walk around. Remember when we dressed like that in college?! Oh wait, no. We wore snowboarder hoodies and high waisted jeans...Mimi is NEVER going to college.

It was a fun day.

Mimi's playdate turned into an impromtu sleepover. (When we called to arrange picking her up, I heard the girls asking in the background...it brought back memories for sure. We said yes and there was lots of squealing. We wouldn't do that at just anywhere, but sleeping over at Mya's is the equivalent of Cinderella's Castle..seriously. She was in good hands with Natalia. It was a girl party.)

We taught Mimi's little Sunday School class together on Sunday. 
It was so nice to volunteer for something and know that we had a WHOLE OTHER DAY in our weekend. I could get used to that.

This was our family run/park outing on Monday. P.J.s and all...

As Ben put it, after this weekend, our "banks" were full :) Thank you LORD!
