On Memorial Day, we went to Augustana to visit Grandma Mimi with Uncle Drew.
I've blogged about that spot before, but it's pretty beautiful. And a great place to reflect about the amazing woman that Mary Ellen Beth (Noren) Turrill was.

Then we had breakfast with Popee and Nana Rachel.
The kids played in the yard and the dogs wrestled nonstop.
Mimi loves the tire swing that Popee built for her...

Then Rachel started digging up her whole yard to give to us...it was awesome.

By the time we went home, our car was FULL of plants...it was glorious. Our naked yard was thankful. :)
